The role will work with functional team members of the Assets & Works Management stream to ensure that requirements for customised and analytical reporting components are properly identified and documented in functional design documents. The role will also provide expert advice on reporting to the functional team and to provide support during testing.
The role will also work with technical team members to ensure appropriate solution design and translation of requirements into technical designs.
Essential Job Functions:
o Review business process designs for capture of high level reporting requirements
o Provide BI and Reporting specialist expertise to A&WM team including QA service and mentoring
o Manage inventory of report requirements for A&WM stream
o Strategically analyse business requirements, existing processes and systems to identify, develop, clarify and document the required solution
o Lead and contribute to writing of report functional design documents
o Review functional designs
o Contribute to assessment of solution options including value of the propositions
o Support testing by A&WM process team (including defect identification)
