Defence & Government Security Clearance Program

The PSPF Protective Security Policy Framework is the policy document that all Australian Government Department and  Defence Agencies adhere to. This mandates that staff working in areas deemed sensitive to national security must hold one of three levels of security clearance, depending on the level of security.

The level of clearances determines if you can be entrusted with classified information and resources as part of your work. You will only be granted a clearance if you can demonstrate integrity and character traits indicating you can protect Australian Government resources and are an Australian citizen.
